Full Service Cards
A full-service library card provides access to a wide range of services provided by the Silver Falls Library District, in-library Internet access, and access to materials at all 18 Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS) member libraries. With a full-service card, you may have 50 items checked out at one time, although the following limits also apply:
- 5 books per subject in the Youth Services Wing
- 5 books by the same author in the Youth Services Wing
- 5 issues of the same magazine
- 5 of each type of audio-visual material (for example: 5 DVDs, 5 VHS, 5 CDs)
- Limits per household for any of the above may also apply (for example 5 DVDs per household, 10 CDs per household).
There are three ways to be eligible for a full service card:
- Silver Falls Library District Resident or Property Owner
- You may obtain a free full-service card since your property taxes already pay for your library service. You also have access to materials at all 18 Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS) member libraries.
- Resident of Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS), but Outside of the Silver Falls Library District (SFLD)
- If you live outside the library district, and do not pay property taxes to the SFLD, but do live within the CCRLS area (Yamhill, Polk, Marion, and parts of Linn County), you can purchase a full service library card for $60 per year per household.
- Non-Resident of Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS) District
- If you live both outside the Silver Falls Library District and the CCRLS district, you can purchase a full service library card for $75 per year per household.
